Apocalypsis

 

Born in 1953 in Strasbourg, France. He holds a Doctorate in Philosophy and Aesthetics,
University of Paris X. He has lived and worked on the French Island of Reunion, in the Indian Ocean,
in Lima (Peru), in El Salvador (Central America) and now resides in the Dominican Republic.
His work has crystallized a meditation about Nazca, Maya and Taino symbols.

1985 - Retrospective in DIERX MUSEUM, Saint Denis - island of Reunion,(France)
1987 - «CHIMERES» (painting structure of 4,20 x 2,60m) Galerie Salammbo, Paris (France)
1988 - "NON-EUCLIDIAN VISIONS," a monumental work composed of 21 canvases on a parabolic, metal support structure (10m X 12m X 6m) at
Gillot Airport on Reunion Island. A short documentary of this experience which was chosen for screening at the 1991 Art Film-Festival at Lausanne. The exhibit attracted more than 50 000 visitors from around the world.

1999 - "NAZCA DREAMS" retrospective exhibit in Peruvian National Museum in Lima,(Peru)
2006 - Exhibit of Artwork inspired on the artwork of the author Saint Exupery, with the presentation
of artworks of Saint Exupery's wife Consuelo Suncin, San Salvador (El Salvador).
2007 - Presentation of two artworks on the theme of Compassion, for the «Heart's Point» Meditation
Center, New York, (USA)
2011 - «Armory Art Week 2011», New York (USA)
2012 - Participation at GZ-ART Basel 2012 during Art Basel Week (Switzerland)
2012 - Auction Sotheby's "Morning Tears" Shanghai (China)


The artist has many international awards and prices , and many international artist magazines and
books have presented his work:
